Freakonomics by Steven Levitt and Stephen Dubner, is a very popular book, not just among economists, but the public as a whole. While this book doesn’t necessarily delve deeply into economic theory or issues, it does have a very unconventional view on numerous topics. Steven and Stephen pose questions such as, “what do schoolteachers and sumo wrestlers have in common?” or “How much do parents really matter?”. these questions are very intriguing and this book is definitely and interesting read that might make you think a little differently about many of the topics they discuss. While I wouldn’t recommend this book if you are hoping to learn serious economic theory, it is most definitely  a book that you can enjoy reading.
